Overview

Gameloft 20th Anniversary Collection
To celebrate Gameloft's 20th anniversary, we launched an action-packed compilation featuring 30 iconic titles from the company’s J2ME era, adapted for modern Android devices.

Design Brief:

  • Selected and adapted classic Gameloft J2ME titles for Android distribution.
  • Redesigned control schemes to fit touch-based gameplay.
  • Updated in-game instructions, hints, and tutorials to align with the new platform.

Results:

  • Achieved over 5 million downloads on the Google Play Store.
  • Maintained a strong 4.2/5.0 user rating.
 
 

Roles in the Project

  • Designed user interfaces for games, transitioning from physical keypads on feature phones to virtual button layouts, including in-game hints and tutorials.
  • Created control mapping design to the new format
  • Created and prepared all UI assets for integration.
  • Collaborated closely with programmers to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of UI modifications.
